Cloves are the unopened flower buds of the tyopically grown Syzgium Aromaticum. Sri Lanka cloves are highly aromatic and has a higher oil content. Adour and flavor are unique features. Cloves are an essential ingredient in the food industry.






Nutmegs And Mace
(Myristica Fragrans)

Although thses are derived from one plant, they are traded as separate spices. Used internationally in the food and extraction industires. Nutmegs are exported in two forms - shelled and unshelled. Sri Lankan nutmegs have comparatively a higher oil content (aprox 12%) and high Aroma.






Areca Nut/Betel Nut
(Areca Catechu)

The areca nut is the seed of the areca palm and is more commonly known as the betel nut because it is chewed with the betel leaf, traditionally by Asian Oceanic countries.






Dry Lemon
(Citrus Limonum)

Dry Lemon is made by drying and electrical dryers. The color of dry lemon varies from yellow to black depending on the drying method. Dry Lemon is used in cooking and also crushed & mixed with water for a refreshing drink with very high vitamin C content.








Ceylon Cinnamon
(Cinnamonmum Zeylanicum)

This belongs to family Lauraceae. Sri Lanka commands about 90% to World cinnamon market, nearly 12,000 tons of Quills and chips exported from SriLanka per annum.
Cinnamon exports as following grades:
Alba, C5 Special, C5, C4, M5, M4, H1, H2, H3 packed in 25Kgs or bales or cut in to 7-25 cm packed in cartons.

Cinnamon Quelling (Broken pieces) or chips are packed in bags.


Users – Cinnamon is used as a spice or condiment for flavoring cakes cooking etc... It is also used as a medicine. Just 1/2 tea spoon of cinnamon can lower LDL cholestrol and control blood sugar. Cinnamon reduces the proliferation of Lukemia and Lymphoma cancer cells.

Desiccated Coconut

Desicated Cocnut is a grated, dried and unsweetened fresh meat or kernel of mature fruit of coconut. Desiccated Cocnut is graded by cutting size sepcified as follows.
       a). Coarse grade
       b). Medium grade
       c). Fine grade
       d). Super fine grade
       e). Special grades of Chips, Threads, Flakes and also Low Fat DC with 40-50% fat content.



Sri Lanka origin desiccated coconut is white in color reasonably free from yellow speck, black spots. It has a sweet aromatic taste.

       1). Moisture 3%
       2). Oil content 63% to 68%
       3). Free from Salmonella and e-coli

Desiccated Coconut is ideal for use as filters, toppings and ingredients especially in the baking of biscuits, Snack bars. Cakes, Cookies and so on.
Desiccated Cocnut is packed in multi-ply Kraft paper bags with inner sealed polythene in 10Kg, 25Kg, or 50Kgs.
