Organic Coconut Flour

Organic coconut flour is the new baker’s delight which is a healthy substitute for wheat flour and other grain flours. Organic Coconut Flour is processed from the naturally dried defatted coconut kernel, ground into coconut flour. Coconut flour contains a significant amount of fiber around 35%, even more than in wheat flour. Therefore it improves digestion and regulates blood sugar. Coconut flour contains 12% of proteins hence considered as a rich protein source. Thus it has less digestible carbohydrates, which is the reason for it to be popular among those who concerned about weight loss.

Organic Coconut Milk

Coconut milk is a creamy, milky white liquid extracted by mechanical pressing of grated flesh of mature coconuts. It is the best natural substitute for dairy milk and the ultimate solution for Lactose intolerant people. Coconut milk is a natural functional cooking base traditionally used in Sri Lankan households. Comparatively, Coconut milk provides 50% more Calcium than dairy milk and comprised of different fat percentages. Coconut cream has a thicker texture than the coconut milk, due to less water content and higher fat content (12% to 24%) which alters its consistency. Organic Creamed Coconut

Organic Creamed Coconut is produced by grinding the fresh coconut meat, followed by subsequent dehydration to make a semi solid, creamy thick paste. Due to its thick consistency creamed coconut is known as coconut butter or coconut concentrate. Compared to coconut milk and coconut cream, it has the lowest moisture percentage around maximum 3%. It has a rich coconut essence and creamy, waxy texture.

Organic Creamed coconut contains pure virgin coconut oil and absolutely less cholesterol. It is has higher fiber content and abundant in Potassium.
